Hello.

I've been working on my own mystery soundfont and today I am having this problem: I am not hearing any sound in the Instruments or Presets tab, but I hear sound when previewing the samples in the Samples tab. This is a major problem. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Polyphone and it did not resolve the issue. Then I restarted my computer altogether. Again, nothing was fixed.
There was an exact same question asked, but it was left long unanswered.

Is there anything else I can do about this?

I would need more information and you will find below some instructions, assuming you are running Polyphone on Windows.

I suspect a wrong configuration to be saved somewhere so could you please open the registry (write regedit in the Windows menu) and go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/polyphone/", then export the full content of this node and share it so that I can investigate (in a zip file)?

Then you can open a terminal in the installation directory of Polyphone and write the following so that the configuration is cleared:
polyphone.exe -r
Open polyphone and test the keyboard with an instrument... is it now working?

If you cannot export a part of the registry you could still tell me if, after having run the command, polyphone is now working correctly.

Well, I did both of those, and it seemed to me that the latter worked!
Thanks for your help; now everything is working again!

P.S. The attached file is the exported registry before executing the terminal function.

Thanks a lot I saw what happened.
MIDI CC07 and CC11 are "main vollume" and "expression". If one of those has the value "0", you will have no sound when playing with the keyboard. The problem is that when CC07 is set to 0, this value is recalled the next time you open Polyphone and you still have no sound.
In the future version, CC07 and CC11 will be forced to 127 (maximum volume) when Polyphone starts.
